With over twenty years of corporate experience focused on indirect procurement, Wendy is a seasoned professional specializing in strategic category management, competitive sourcing, and purchasing operations. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a keen ability to identify cost saving opportunities and implement innovative supplier solutions across various indirect categories including but not limited to professional services, travel, corporate services, contingent labor, freight, logistics, and MRO. Her track record speaks for itself, with a consistent history of delivering year-over-year cost savings and operational improvements in mid-large size organizations.
Prior to consulting, Wendy worked in several diverse fields including medical device, life sciences, technology, and aerospace. Most notably, she built and lead the indirect procurement function at NuVasive, Inc. and before that spent over a decade leading various indirect categories and integration activities at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Wendy holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from SDSU, complemented by a BS in Business Management from the same institution. These academic achievements have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of business dynamics on a global scale, providing her with the tools to navigate complex procurement landscapes with confidence.
